Market find

Browsing through the bric-a-brac stalls at Salamanca on the weekend I came across a very nostalgic find. When I was little we used to have this exact same mug and I would always want my morning cup of tea in it. I loved the feel of it, warm and snug in my hands. It fit so perfectly and felt so smooth.  It's vintage Wade Irish porcelain which explains the smoothness!

Sadly one day the handle came off and my Mother said it was time to say goodbye to it so off to porcelain heaven it went *sniff*. I am so happy to have found another just like it and this one has (apparently) never been used! It still has the tag, so it could be true :)

Big V also reckons the mug rocks... I hope this means there'll be no fighting when it comes to cuppa time. I might just have to keep my eye out for another just in case!

Can't beat the Irish. Reckon it's an Irish coffee cup Ruth, pop in some hard stuff.

Ha! You found me!
It IS an Irish coffee cup Suze, and on the back of the tag it has the recipe for a proper Irish coffee which I'll have to try when I feel like being a bit of a boozer :)

Good woman Ruth, have a proper Irish - with cream on the top. Gorgeous blogs you and Bec both have.

I know! We live very close to each other! I didn't get to the market on Sunday but knowing Hobart I'm sure we have passed each other many times and not realised it! You have a super cute little munchkin :)
Enjoy that pin cushion, B x
